The archive checkbox state is not remembered. It is controlled manually or with the --AUTOBID command.
The context menu of the archive box:
copy the current hand - copies the contents of the archive for the current hand to the clipboard;
save the current hand - saves the archive content for the current hand.
The program will bid on all hands according to the selected settings. The results will be saved in the current directory as a file whose name depends on the contents of the combo box:
Sequence: <entered bidding sequence> (example: 1H-X-4H-P-P-P)
Convention: <selected convention> (example: 1M-3M blocking)
<text> entered into the combo box (instead of the - sign, use the _ sign, example: bad scores 1M_2M)
default name <BBA - [Date and time].[selected extension]> if the combo box is empty
If two consecutive hands are equal, only one of them will be recorded.
The PBN format has a tag value 'Event':
'Sequence:<entered bidding sequence>'
'Convention: <selected convention>'
""
If you want to write all DD tricks you have to check "Write all DD to archived *.pbn file".
In this case the bidding will take longer because DD tricks will be calculated.
