The firm Bradley's Ltd. located in Dublin, where I am employed as a marketing director, will produce a new product to sell either in supermarkets or to the hospitality sector, the product, which will be called Elite Dublin is born of the idea that fast food doesn't have to be junk food, so my product will be made with fresh, organic and healthy ingredients.
Dublin Elite consists of a full menu of starter, main course and dessert; all of them packed in the same box in order to be introduced at a time in the oven so you can have the food ready to eat in only 10 minutes.
Bradley's Ltd. plan to launch a wide range of Dublin Elite menus in the future, but initially made the proposal with the following:
STARTER COURSE: Salmon
Fresh salmon with dill sauce and fresh salad.
MAIN COURSE: Beef Willington with local vegetable
Fillet beef, Pastry, Mushrooms, Paté, Mustard, Salt, pepper, Pepper corns
With small new potatoes, cauliflower and green beans al dente.
DESERT COURSE: Dublin apple crumble and custard
My potential clients are two, the first is directed to full-time workers with a medium or high cultural level because this group does not have much time to prepare food at home but are worried about following a healthy diet, the product would reach this first group through supermarkets. Other potential customers are restaurants whose rush hours are overworked by the many menus they have to serve, which saves them time but not at the expense of quality.
The main features and benefits of my product are the ease and speed of preparation of fresh and healthy food, and there is no similar product on the market.
Customers would be informed about this product by different methods to reach the entire public, on social media to reach the youngest public, in print media to reach the middle-aged public and cultured in the public television to reach middle-aged and slightly less cultured finally a stand will be located in supermarkets for potential customers to try the product. In the case of restaurants they can meet the product through stands at fairs and trade exhibitions and direct mail.
Good morning ladies and gentlemen. First of all, let me thank you for coming here today. I’m aware that you’re all busy, so I really appreciate you taking the time to be here. As you know, my name is Eva Quintana, I’m a marketing director.
I plan to say a few words about the city in which our new office will be located to manufacture and market the new product.
I’ve divided my talk into two parts. First I’m going to talk about choosing the sites between the possibilities of Wales or New Jersey. Finally, in the second part I’d like to give you reasons why the city I have chosen is the best.
My talk will take about ten minutes. After my talk, there will be time for a discussion and any question you might have.
That’s all for the introduction. Now let’s move to the first part of my talk, which is about choosing between the two countries proposed, either Wales or New Jersey, there are three things to consider. First, taxes for new businesses and cost of premises, which are lower in Wales than in New Jersey, second the wages of workers, in Wales cheap skilled worker are available while in New Jersey if you want skilled worked you will have to pay them a salary set by law. Thirdly, quality of life, this is arguably the best in Wales. In conclusion we need to find a city in Wales and not in New Jersey.
So now we come to study the different possibilities offered by the cities of Wales. We assume that we need a coastal city and tradition farmers to have availability of supplies, in addition to having good roads, communication and nearby motorways that will allow the export of the product quickly and without delay, we also seek good and cheap housing so we opt for developing areas instead of large cities where rent tends to be more expensive, I want to put my business in next a town or city not in the country, so our firm needs a close market. Furthermore we seek an area where the principles of healthy eating are rooted in the population, so it could be any nearby city to a reserve or national park. With all these features we come to the only conclusion to put our new office in St David's.
So I conclude, the best place to locate our new office would be St David’s, Wales. I’d like to finish there and give you the opportunity to reply to this.
My choice is Mrs. Helga Vass for different reasons. Mr. Kakura has more professional experience but this experience is unrelated to the position, which has to be filled, while Mrs. Vass has worked in the field of human resources where her functions were administration and organization, although these shortcomings would be covered by Mr. Kakua due to his formation in Advertising Management it is true that Mrs. Vass has assimilated them in her old job and also she complements this with her formation in Economist Specialized in International Business.
Furthermore, they both speak four languages Mr. Kakua with a higher level than Mrs. Vass but she speaks major languages for our position, such as Spanish and German, which are more in demand than Russian and Polish, besides Mrs. Vass has a better English level.
Finally, they both have similar social skills and although Mr. Kakua have better computer skills Mrs. Vass has enough of them.
