Printing & Laser Workshop

Our workshop originally began as the “Notebook Workshop.” Making notebooks is no easy task — the process is divided into multiple operations and carefully assigned. Each member folds individual sheets one by one, aligning the edges with millimeter precision. It took time and practice for us to achieve high-quality results. This activity requires concentration and fine motor skills, which improve significantly with experience. Once the pages are folded, they need to be counted. Those who can count independently do so themselves; others use colored markers to separate correct quantities. The next steps include laminating covers, stapling the inner pages, trimming with a guillotine cutter, and finally — seeing the finished notebook. These tasks bring our team great satisfaction, as the final products are always both beautiful and useful. We collaborate with several schools, including the Free Waldorf School of Tbilisi, Lisi, and the Saguramo Natural Science School. We regularly receive large orders from them, and it brings us joy to know that so many children are using the notebooks we make. We are proud to create functional, high-quality products — it means we care for others while continuing to develop our own professional skills. Our workshop has expanded: now we also have a mini print shop and a laser cutting machine, which makes our activities even more diverse. We print books, catalogs, and brochures, and with the laser cutter, we create various shapes, souvenirs, and gift boxes. Many of our clients have become our long-term partners and friends. Currently, our workshop consists of 11 beneficiaries and 2 therapists. Our daily activities follow a steady rhythm and include breaks for memory, focus, and rhythm exercises. We play games like lotto, go outside to the garden, and observe the plants.
