Moon River was released as a single in which Frank expresses optimism for the future, despite the fact that we are all "drifters". The background vocals and melody harmonize very nicely with Frank's lead voice and create a beautiful, euphoric, feeling. To me the song has a very specific summer feel to it. As the sun sets and all is calm, we should be reflect on the day, yet we should be excited it to rise in the morning and for a new day to begin.

Why I chose this song for this week

This song has shaped many days and nights of my high school summers and has such a nostalgic presence in my life. It reminds me of the good times I've had, and of the adventures ahead of me.
