All Flowers In Time Bend Towards The Sun

Jeff Buckley & Elizabeth Fraser 1996

All Flowers In Time Bend Towards The Sun is an unreleased song made between Jeff Buckley & Elizabeth Fraser. The two artists, who had a romantic relationship with each other, recorded this version one night as a piece of art to have between the two of them. It was never meant to see the light of day and it remained that way until the death of Jeff Buckley in 1997. The song has very loose production on it, and is mainly made up of acoustic guitars and vocals. The amount of vulnerability heard in the voices of the singers is not something listeners get to hear often. Although I am conflicted with the fact that Elizabeth Fraser is upset this song was leaked, I feel that it is only right to listen to it and honor the beauty of true love and vulnerability.

Genre: Slow Rock

Particular lyrics

I know you say that there's no-one for you

But here is one

All flowers in time bend towards the sun

I know you say that there's no-one for you

But here is one, but here is one...

Keep it going in me, wicked traveler

Fading farther from me

With your face in my window glow

Oh, where will you weep for me?

Sweet willow

Why I chose this song for this week

This song was made between the two singers while they were in a romantic relationship and was meant for only them to enjoy, but it leaked shortly after Jeff died. Can't think of a deeper, truer, love song.
