Speech and Debate Club

SPEECH AND DEBATE—Our club offers students the opportunity to develop their public speaking and debate skills as well as compete in state/nation-wide tournaments. We are a competitive team under the instruction of two well-seasoned coaches. If you have a passion for political and social discourse, or you're just looking to improve upon your public speaking skills, we would love for you to be apart of our team!

SPEECH AND DEBATE is divided into several different events. The events our club offers are: Public Forum Debate, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Original Oratory Speech, Interpretation Speech (Dramatic, Humorous, Duo), Impromptu Speech, and Congressional Debate.

To learn more about each event, please check out the National Speech and Debate Association's website (linked below).
