About Us

We are the BSU (Black Student Union). We strive to build connections and relationships with the black students on campus and create a place to celebrate our Black culture. Our mission is to create a safe space where we can talk about the issues in our society and what we can contribute to make our school a more acceptable place for our culture. We want all our fellow African American students to feel safe and start to build a support system here at Amador to bring us all together. The BSU is built to show how wonderful the black culture is and share it with the rest of Amador so they can come to appreciate it as we do.
