We focus on computer security and information technology. Competitions challenge members to critically think in a team environment while applying their classroom knowledge, and help develop workforce ready skills .
We've all seen movie portrayals depicting a dark hooded figure slamming away at a keyboard, but the truth is, you'll be spending far more time perusing Stack Overflow than having "Aha, I'm In!" moments. "Hackers" are just people with a curiosity of how the world around them works. How does a website login authenticate me? How does my computer communicate with other computers? How is my data encrypted as I send it across the internet? If you want to learn more about the computer systems that have become such an important part of our daily lives, then you've come to the right place. The team competitions we participate in will teach you about computer networking, the command line, systems hardening, and penetration testing.
