The Performing Arts Club was started with the goal to provide performance opportunities to Amador students. In the past year, our planned events have included masterclasses, retirement home performances, and instrument and theory tutoring. This upcoming school year, we hope to expand our reach to other aspects of performing arts such as dance, theater, and more. Whether you're looking to practice performing in front of a crowd, play in a group with friends, or just want to have fun, Performing Arts Club awaits!

Music has given her opportunities to travel around the world and meet the most amazing people. Among other highlights, she's performed as a soloist with an orchestra, traveled to Italy for a music festival, and has taught violin to students for almost a year now. Beyond music, Mica enjoys skating and socializing.
Jasmine Chen is a rising junior at Amador. After 6 years of playing piano, she started the cello in 5th grade through the district music program and is now part of Amador's Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, she has performed in various chamber music ensembles and youth orchestra groups. Currently, she is part of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College Program. Aside from music, she spends most of her time reading, studying, and watching YouTube, dramas, or anime.
Curtis Li, 16, is a rising junior at Amador. He started playing piano at 6 years old. Since then, he has passed his DipABRSM exam with a distinction and placed at various competitions, both local and international. In addition to piano, Curtis has played flute since 5th grade through the band program and is now part of Amador's Wind Ensemble 1 and doubles on piccolo. Aside from music, he likes to spend time learning new languages, wasting time online, and studying chemistry.
Jonah Wang is a rising junior at Amador. His passion for music lies within the percussive arts- a drummer in Jazz A, Wind Ensemble I, Varsity Winter Percussion, and in small Jazz combos outside of school. After losing interest in classical piano, Jonah switched to trumpet in middle school and later to percussion. In 8th grade Jazz band, Jonah developed a lasting love for Jazz music and its ability to connect musicians. Beyond drums, Jonah currently plays the piano, guitar, and oboe and loves to eat cheese.
