KEY CLUB is the largest student-led international service organization. Amador Key Club's goal is to encourage leadership through serving others. We coordinate and assist in community events to raise money for various non-profit organizations, including the Pediatric Trauma Program and the Wheelchair Foundation. These projects vary from working in local gardens to help feed the hungry to our annual graduation lei sales fundraiser. Join Key Club to become an active member of your community!
Meetings
We meet every other Friday in room Q-108 during lunch. During meetings, we discuss upcoming service events, play icebreaker games, and/or hold short service events (writing letters to veterans, making dog toys, making leis, etc.).
We hold service events monthly over the weekend, and they can last anywhere from 2-5 hours.
Typical Service Events
Harvesting and planting crops, which are donated to local homeless shelters, at Fertile GroundWorks in Livermore.
Working with the Wheelchair Foundation to hold Abilities Awareness Week on campus (raising funds, Use a Wheelchair For a School Day, etc.)
Serving at the United Blue Crab Fest to raise funds for non-profit organizations with the collected tips (we raised $1,000 for the Wheelchair Foundation in one night!).
When you join Amador Key Club, you also become part of the larger context of Key Club institutions.
Division 26 South (includes various schools throughout Bay Area)
Every level is governed by students; thus, you can become part of Amador's officer team, the Division 26 South Leadership Team, the District Board, and beyond!
