Hi! We're Amador Valley's Biotech club. We aspire to help young students understand the fundamental concepts in biotechnology. With our various hands-on experiments and projects, we hope to educate future scientists, doctors, and influencers.

C.Elegans
This is our project that we had hoped to do last year, however, due to COVID-19. we'll be doing it in the upcoming school year.
Gel Electrophoresis
We do DNA Electrophoresis every year in order to make sure that our club members have the skills needed in order to work with bigger projects like C.Elegans.
Guest speakers!
This is a new addition to the club! With COVID-19 going on we hope to provide new opportunities for people to engage. Anyone can join in and listen to what expert biotech professionals have to say!
Previous Project:
Blue Witch Nightshade
During the 2018-2019 school year we did a project with Blue Witch Nightshade, a plant found within California. We isolated it's DNA, amplified it, and sent it to be sequenced!!
