The Amador Writers Ensemble is a safe place that welcomes new and experienced writers for weekly workshops, writing activities, discussions, and the chance to be a part of a team of students that publish the annual Amador-Foothill literary and art magazine named The LightHouse. As a member, you will have the opportunity to both have your work peer reviewed and learn how to review a fellow student's piece. Whether you just want a space to come and write, time to grow as a writer, or take advantage of the engaging writing exercises and discussions, joining Amador Writers Ensemble is a perfect way for you to meet like-minded students and learn about opportunities to submit your writing for recognition!

Last year, even with COVID-19, we were able to publish the inaugural annual inter-school literary magazine: The LightHouse. With over 40 art and writing submissions across schools, The LightHouse went live near the end of May! If you decide to join us (and we hope you do!), you will have the opportunity to be a part of the publication of the magazine, as well as work as a team to edit and decide which pieces will be published in Issue 2, the 2020/2021 edition.
