Lineage of Maiara - Daniel Malva
The work belongs to a fictional narrative and follows the family tree concept. In this video, Maiara and her daughters are introduced. The video is composed of portraits of these characters, who live in this fictional story, and it was created from drawings with coloured pencils following characteristics previously described in catalogue cards. Both, the portraits and the vídeo were finished using the Artbreeder tool, which uses artificial intelligence based on GAN (Generative Adversarial Networks - with BigGAN and StyleGAN models) and photographic portraits made since 2006. In this research, Malva seeks to use different supports and operating modes to compose images to create new dialogues between tools available for any type of user and for any other purpose that is not to make art.
