The Epoc of Empires
The once vast Khu’nezdran empire stretched across the entire Andromeda galaxy and as far as the Milky way even going as far as making contact with the then Alfar empire, for a time the two had an amicable if at times tenuous relationship eventually establishing trade of not just resources but also in knowledge and ideas, this led to a number of similarities between the Khu’nezdra and the Alfar both taking up similar roles and perceived duties in their respective galaxies as stewards over the other more primitive sentient species to follow in their footsteps. However while the Alfar would ultimately take a mostly hands off approach, the Khu’nezdra were very much the opposite, viewing themselves as entitled as though gods of their domain.
The Epoc of Enmity
Following the first and largest collapse of the Alfar empire communication into the milky way was greatly disrupted until over time the two species would only remember each other through old folklore. Eventually the Khu’nezdra would again begin reaching out into the Milky way, however this time the new Alfar galactic civilization would be less welcoming, this led to an era of intense conflict and suspicion that would last until the eventual and ultimate dissolution of the Khu’nezdra Empire.
The Epoc of Extinction
In the search for newer, faster ships to aid them in their conflict against the Alfar the Khu’nezdra would go on to develop a technology that allowed for near instantaneous travel, a type of warp drive powered by strange negative radiation. At first the technology gave them a great edge, however before long they learnt the same mistake that the Lepidopterans had, with this technology also came the expedited expansion of the Void. the Khu’nezdra were quickly overcome by the Void, their last action being the creation of slow-moving, synthetic-operated Cryoships in an attempt to atone for their folly and save as many species as possible.
