Engaging an audience with the music we perform is one of the biggest keys of success of any band. Whether it is an annual spring concert, or a concert for a special occasion, the music we choose to perform will connect us with the audience. It is that connection that builds our audience and ensures that we have somebody to perform for in future concerts. This presentation will look at some of the best practices in programming as well as where to find new, and old, music to fit the ever changing needs of our ensembles and our audiences. Participants will gain access to great programming ideas as well as a living resource for finding music in the digital age.
