This month, some members of our troop went to the American Heritage Museum. While we were there, we watched a presentation about many historical wars that the country had to fight in, including the Revolutionary War, WWI, WWII, the Korean War, and Vietnam. Mostly it was tanks, but there were also some weapons, aircraft, and apparel that was used by soldiers.
At the beginning of the month, our troop participated in the klondike derby! In case you don't know what this is, it is a competition between many local troops, in which your troop is graded in a variety of scout skills, and your behaviour. Some games were memorizing constellation stories, floor is lava, and the Helicopter game. At the end, there was a big sled race between all of the troops!
We scored 1st at the helicopter game, 2nd at the constellation story memory game, and 3rd at the floor is lava.
