On the fourth, the Troop went on a bike trip at Colt State Park. The first half was 11 miles, and the participants stopped at Haines Park sometime along this half. Everyone had fun, and there was a Dell's lemonade as well.
This month, a group of Scouts from the Troop went to Maine for a week-long trip down the Allagash River, from Churchill Dam to the boat ramp at Twin Brook Rapids. The troop could have chosen multiple routes, but they chose the longest one, lasting 78 miles. According to Mr Kane, 9 miles of this route were whitewater and very difficult. Teamwork was essential, and everyone had a great time.

At the court of honor, every scout who has accomplished anything received a badge or patch. Most of this was the summer camp merit badges, but a surprisingly large number of people achieved rank! People who received rank gave their parents a pin to wear, showing how much they helped with scouts.
all of the summer camp awards, such as the iron scout, cope, and paul bunyan, were awarded as well.
