Our Sustainability Challenge...

How might we take care of the Earth and ourselves to support sustainability? Areas of concern include: climate apathy, climate doom+gloom, and eco-anxiety.

Our Sustainability campaign aims to...

Our main goals is to reduce eco-anxiety by educating the UTS community. We did this by creating pamphlets which contain a number of organizations, as well as their steps towards a more eco friendly planet. We hope that the UTS community uses this information to take action on their own.

Our Moral Imperative...

Not only do we want to help the environment, but we want to improve upon our well being. Considering the stress that comes along with the worsening condition of our planet, we hope to encourage people that it is not too late. Through re assurance, and examples to follow, we can create our moral imperative.

Our campaign revolves around the UTS community. Considering our main goal is to educate and re assure everyone of eco friendly steps that can be taken, our campaign serves as an eco benefit.

Our Pamphlet

We wanted to put together a easy, and informative place where the UTS community could be able to find information. Over the past weeks, we have completed research, and put together a pamphlet. In the pamphlet you will find information about our goals and the work we have done, as well as guiding information about three organizations - CAN-Rac Canada, David Suzuki Foundation, and the Container Recycling Institute

National, bilingual, non-profit organization, working out of Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal
Uses evidence-based research, education, and policy analysis, to work towards a sustainable Canada and empower people to take action within their own lives
Provides opportunities through volunteers, resources, and petitions.

CAN-Rac Canada

Union which overlooks more than 100 nation wide organizations
Works to create affordable solutions for climate change by creating hundreds of thousands of jobs
Provides opportunities through smaller organizations and online webinars/workshops

Container Recycling Institute

Non profit organization working to reach a world where no material is wasted, and the environment is protected
Hope to make North America a worldwide model for the collection and quality of recycling packaged materials.
Provides opportunities through online webinars and employment.
