Onofre D. Corpuz

Onofre D. Corpuz had served as the 12th president of the University of the Philippines from 1975 to 1979. In his early life, Corpuz had finished his primary education in his hometown of Tarlac, Philippines, where he graduated salutatorian of Camiling Elementary School and Tarlac High School. He later on pursued his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, graduating as Magna Cum Laude. Before coming into his presidency within UP, he had served as the Undersecretary of the Department of Education in 1966.
