Emerlinda R. Roman

Emerlinda R. Roman served as the 19th President of the University of the Philippines (2005–2011) and was the first woman to lead the UP System. She holds degrees in Agriculture, Agribusiness Management, and a Doctor of Business Administration. She also served as the first woman Chancellor of UP Diliman, Faculty Regent, Vice Chancellor and Vice President for Administration, and Secretary of the University and the Board of Regents, and as the first woman President of UP Diliman.
