Angelo Jimenez

Angelo Jimenez is the incumbent President of the University of the Philippines and the first Mindanaoan to hold the position. Jimenez has served as a two-time member of the UP Board of Regents, first as a Student Regent and then as a Regent. He was also a lecturer at the UP Law Center Institute of the Administration of Justice. Jimenez is also a labor lawyer and an expert on Philippine overseas labor issues and global migration. As president, he advocates for inclusive education, digital transformation, and the strengthening of UP’s research, public service, and global engagement.
