TUFH 2026 will take place in person and virtually in Manila, Philippines from the 4th to 7th of August 2026. TUFH 2026 is a joint conference between The Network: Towards Unity for Health and the University of the Philippines Manila (UP Manila).
The University of the Philippines Manila (UP Manila) is one of the eight constituent universities of the University of the Philippines (UP) System. It is a public and secular institution of higher learning that offers academic and training programs, as well as extension services in the health sciences, health professions education, arts, and sciences.
The Network: Towards Unity for Health is an international, intersectoral, intergenerational organization that fosters equitable community-oriented health services, education, and research with the goal of improving health locally and globally. It convenes innovative health care organizations, universities, community institutions, and thought leaders from all over the world.
With the theme, "Bayanihan for health equity: co-creating social innovations for responsive & resilient health systems", the aim of the conference is to bring together national and international participants from different health and educational sectors to network, discuss, and learn on best practices for health equity.
During scientific sessions (Workshops, Oral Presentations, TUFH Talks, Documentaries, etc.), participants will learn about various topics. We are hoping you will present your work at TUFH 2026!
During the conference on the move, participants will have the opportunity to go out into the Philippines and see projects and organizations do the work and learn about them firsthand.

A 4-year baccalaureate degree in health professions from the University of the Philippines or other approved university or tertiary institution considered acceptable by UPM
Teaching and/or administrative experience or at least two years in an institution responsible for the teaching of health personnel
Good scholastic record from any recognized institution of higher learning
For all applicants from countries where English in not medium of instruction Certificate from the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)(i.e at least SS0 for written test, 173 for computerized test, and 70 for internet-based test)
Duly accomplished application forms (available for download at http://ngohs.upm.edu.ph/ with the minimum National Graduate Office for the Health Sciences (NGOHS) requirements
Be a Master's degree holder in any health science or related field, from a recognized institution, Applicants with the Doctor of Medicine degree with valid professional license can be admitted directly to the program by virtue of CHED Resolution 038-2001
Minimum of 3 years in a health professions education setting as a faculty member, administrator, researcher, consultant, clinician, training officer, or human resource complement copy of official appointments is required.
Copy of at least one published paper where applicant is the primary author or co-author in referred journals recognized by UP in the recent 5 years
Submit a capsule dissertation proposal not exceeding five pages
For applicants who are not graduates of MHPEd, MAHPEd or any higher education related Master's degree, satisfactory completion of prerequisite courses, namely HP201 and 221. Applicants can be admitted as non-degree students at NTTCHP until completion of said courses
