Can I participate in this study?

If you're between the between 18-60 years old and you have a history of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder, you may be able to participate.

What will I do in this study?

The study lasts approximately 3 months with a single follow up at month 6. The different types of visits include:

  • 3 one-hour working memory training sessions with tDCS each week during the first 3 months.

  • 4 visits to the University of Minnesota, including completing questionnaires and interviews, taking cognitive tests, providing samples of saliva or urine for a drug screen, providing saliva samples for genetic analyses (optional), completing 3 MRI scans.

Am I compensated for this study?

You may receive compensation up to $921.
