Prerequisites: PSYC 285 or 380. Recommended: either PSYC 331 or PSYC 211
Credit fulfillment: Contributes 3 credits towards the 120 credits needed for the Bachelor’s degree.
Contributes 3 upper level (UL) credits towards the 45 UL credits needed for the Bachelor’s degree.
Satisfies the Applied Psychology distribution requirement for the BA in Psychology or BS in Psychology.
Satisfies the Clinical Focus distribution requirement for the Human Services Psychology Concentration.
Required course for the Certificate in Psychology for the Workplace.
Pass/Fail Option: This course may be taken Pass/Fail. However, if taken Pass/Fail, it WILL NOT count towards the Psychology Major or Minor program requirements, nor toward specific general education course requirements (GFR/GEP). To count in those categories, a course must be taken regular grading, and a grade of “C” or better obtained. However, if taken Pass/Fail, this course WILL count towards the 120 credits needed for the Bachelor’s degree and the 45 upper level credits needed.
Incompletes: Incompletes will only be given for extreme emergencies such as a death in your family, extreme illness, military activation, or anything outside of your control. Failure to plan ahead, panic over many papers/assignments being required at the same time, etc. are not valid for incomplete requests. Due to my part time status at the university, I am not always available to read a late work product immediately upon receiving it from the student.
Withdrawal from Course: Students who need to withdraw from the course and receive a grade of ‘W’ may do so no later than the date reflected in the University’s academic calendar. Failure to comply with the official withdrawal procedure will result in a permanent grade of F.
