Computers, Copiers, and Printers

Computer Lab 

The computer lab has three computers that are available for general use. See the note beside the computer for guest log in credentials. 

What service should I use to print?

There are three options for printing. Please choose the one appropriate for your print job size.

1. Computer Lab printers (small print jobs, 1-10 pages)

2. Copier program copiers (small - medium print jobs, 10-50 pages)

3. Copy Center (large print jobs, 50+ pages) 

What about scanning?

Use the copier program copiers for scanning. 

Computer Lab Printers (small print jobs)

There are two printers in the computer lab that Math department members can print from by using the computer lab computers. Please notify the Math Office of any technical difficulties or ink shortages.  

Copier Program Printers (small - medium print jobs and scanning)

There are two copiers in the Math Department. One is in the MATH Office, the other is in the hallway across from room 4130. Please notify the Math Office of any technical difficulties or ink shortages. 

One can set up their laptop/computer to print directly to the copiers. The copiers are a part of the Copier Program’s Pharos Uniprint system. Please see instructions on the Copier Program website to set up the drivers needed to do this. 

UCSC Copy Center (large print jobs)

The UCSC Copy Center should be used for large print orders for items such as exams or syllabi. 

"We reproduce exams for all courses at UCSC with the greatest attention to security. Exams are reproduced by University staff under controlled conditions. Orders are available for pick up or will be delivered as requested." 

• Make requests with at least 72 hours notice. 

• Can have copies delivered to department offices or mailboxes.
