Caputo's Crafty Campers
Caputo's Crafty Campers
Dear Parents and families,
Welcome back! I hope everyone had a wonderful break. We are back and going to hit the ground running. The home stretch is in sight, and there is plenty to accomplish. In addition to our regular day to day lessons, we will begin to review for not only the FAST PM3 in math, but our EOY science assessment as well.
Please mark your calendars for Thursday, May 21st. Mr. Rose and I hope that you will be able to attend our end of the year awards/celebration from 8:30-9:30.
Parents, I am in need of your help. I have had an overwhelming number of children bringing in toys. They have been informed, not only by me, but admin as well, that toys are not permitted in school. Please have a conversation with your child about this. If your child does bring in a toy, I will take it, and it will be given back at the end of the year. They are interfering with your child's learning environment. Thank you for your anticipated help with this matter.
In math, We will continue with Chapter 12: Relating Decimals to Fractions. This week's homework (Q4.3) will be passed out on Monday. There are several kiddos that are not turning in their homework. Please remind your child to do so.
In science, I will pass back the matter test that the students completed prior to break. The overall performance did not meet my expectations, so they will take another form of the test on Tuesday. The two scores will be averaged together for their final grade. Energy will be our next topic. The students will need to know the different types of energy and how we use them.
If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I wish you all a productive week!
My classroom library link is listed below. If the kiddos finish their work and do not have a book with them, they can select one from my library.
