Dear Parents and families,

                                   Welcome to December! Below you will find a list of important dates.

                                       2nd: Buffalo HERD Meeting 6pm-7pm @ ⅘ Grade Center

                         11th: “Notes of the Season”

                         19th: Last day of the 9 weeks

                                  Last day before Winter Break

                                  3-D Flower Project Due

                                  Holiday Celebration

                          22-Jan 5th: Winter Break

                         Jan 6th: Students Return

                        We have a very busy week ahead. This week will focus on getting all caught up. It is hard to believe that Friday will mark the end of the second quarter. 

                                 In math, any student that has to make-up assessments or classwork will be doing so. For those that are all caught up, they will be completing some holiday themed review of skills packets. The kiddos will be quizzed on dividing by 6s on Friday.

                                 In science, we will continue with Life Cycles of Plants and Animals. The children have been assigned an at home 3-D Flower project.  A letter was sent home last week regarding the details and rubric. If you have not returned the slip at the bottom of the letter, please do so ASAP.  It will be due no later than Friday, December 19th. If your child is not going to be in school on the 19th, the project must be turned in beforehand. If you should have any questions, please reach out to me. I am looking forward to seeing how creative the children will be.
