Last Day of School
Please mark your calendars for Thursday, May 21st. Mr. Rose and I hope that you will be able to attend our end of the year awards/celebration from 8:30-9:30. A letter will be coming home on Monday. Please ask your child for it. If you should have any questions, please reach out to me.
These next two weeks will be very busy with PM 3 FAST testing and Science and Social Studies EOYs. Not to mention, the boys and girls will be completing their final math and science classroom assessments for the year. It is so very important for your child to be present every day.
In math, we will finish up Chapter 15: Customary and Metric Units of Measurement. Due to testing, this test will be pushed back to after testing. We will also begin our reivew for the FAST PM 3 assessment (May 12). This will be the final week of math homework. It will take on a different look. The students will be given four days of FAST math review questions. Just like the previous homework, they will have all week to complete the problems. It will be due by Friday.
In science, we will continue to look at the different types of energy and how we use them. We will look at speed and how that plays in a collision. The students will also continue working on their EOY reviews. These can be done at home as well. They are located in my google classroom.
If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I wish you all a productive week!
My classroom library link is listed below. If the kiddos finish their work and do not have a book with them, they can select one from my library.
