This week, we are having our second book fair. Just like the first one, only children with money or money on an e-wallet will be permitted to go. They are not allowed to share their money with other kids. They will go once per day that they have money. Anything but books will need to go into their backpacks.
The field trip was a success! The children had a wonderful time. Thank you to my chaperones for taking the day and spending it with us. I appreciate you. I have turned in the time for your PI, so it should show on your report.
In math, we will be starting Chapter 11: Multiplying Fractions. Revisiting dividing facts 0-12 will comprise the fact practice for the week. This week's homework (Q3.9) will be passed out on Monday. There are several kiddos that are not turning in their homework. Please remind your child to do so.
In science, we will continue with our chapter on matter. The children will be expected to know the states of matter, the physical properties of matter, conservation of matter, the different states of water, and the difference between physical and chemical changes in matter.
If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I wish you all a productive week!
My classroom library link is listed below. If the kiddos finish their work and do not have a book with them, they can select one from my library.
