Dear Students and Families,
This week in reading class students will be analyzing charts, graphs, tables, and diverse text features that bring meaning to a text. We'll also explore author's claims and perspectives within informational text and how the text features support those perspectives and claims. In writing, students will be participating in an independent writing task that includes a variety of text features and evidence, allowing students to cite sources that support their own claims. Students will continue their journey through Pioneer Florida with our novel A Land Remembered and explore how technological advancements improved life for the people in Florida. Thank you for all of your time and support from home and have a great week!
