Dear Students and Families,
Next week we'll be focusing on Pioneer Life in social studies as we read the novel A Land Remembered. Our focus in ELA is on essay development and sentence variety to add flavor and depth to students' ideas. Students will be taking digital cold reads from this point forward, so we'll tackle strategies for digital assessments more closely and continue our 5W's strategy for quick note-taking while reading. Students are encouraged to save and bring in an empty cereal box in the next week or so for an upcoming class project. Thank you for all of your time and support from home and have an excellent week!
