Configuration File
What
The configuration defines the cross section of a trench. In the installation there are supplied standard cross sections. These can be used as base and can be changed as desired.
In the configuration window there are seven icons to choose from:
Trench cross section – Establish trench cross section
Pipes – Create new pipes and define pipe material
Connection – Create new connection and define connection material
Save – Save active trench cross section
Import - Import existing trench cross section from your computer
Save as... - Save active trench cross section to desired folder
Settings...

The configuration window can be opened in the WS-module.
How
Step 1: The first time you open the configuration for a task, you get three options:
"Copy default configuration to choose from trenches that follow the installation"
"Select configuration to copy from previously saved configurations"
"Copy from a WS task gives the opportunity to choose from earlier tasks"
Step 2: Make a new trench cross section or copy a relevant trench cross section
Step 3: Change the name in the name bar in properties
Step 4: Edit pipes and connections:
Pipes
Edit material, geometry and dimensions of pipes
Create more pipes you can add to your trench cross section
Create material you can add to your pipe in the material tab
Connections
Edit material, geometry and dimensions of connections
Create more connections you can add to your trench cross section
Create material you can add to your connections in the material tab
Step 5: Adjust the trench cross section:

Changes done in the trench cross section is shown in the graphic
Go to properties to do changes to the trench cross section
Define pipes and position
Add or delete pipes
The first pipe becomes reference pipe. The other pipes will adjust in relation to the reference pipe
If you do not find the correct pipe, define a new pipe in the pipes tab
Open trench geometry to edit the cross section
Edit the geometry of the trench cross section
Here is a matrix for foundation thickness in different ground conditions
Open connection to edit connections
Define first and last connection
Define connection vertexes
Define: connection type, material, dimension, geometry, height and cover
If you do not find the correct connection, define a new connection in the connections tab
Open additional description to add more descriptions to the pipes.
