Beyond academic rigour, what makes TPSS a good school is our two very unique programmes -
Creative Engineering and Creative Expressions.
These programmes are designed to broaden and deepen our students’ learning, in authentic settings that can further challenge them to grow and develop into confident individuals.

OUR MAKERS SHARING THEIR CREATIONS AT MOE EXCEL FEST
The programme aims to imbue students with the right mind-set, knowledge and skills to be curious and creative problem solvers who appreciate the broader applications within the STEM field. We also hope to help students appreciate the relevance and value of what they are learning in the academic curriculum to the real world, and develop stronger motivation and purpose to acquire knowledge and skills.
The TPSS Maker Movement gained traction in 2015 and has evolved greatly since then, with our students participating in and winning several competitions. In 2020, our school was appointed the Maker Lead School for the East Zone.
Students who demonstrate greater aptitude and interest are given more specialised training to participate in external competitions.

LEARNING THROUGH THE ARTS
The Arts allow us to explore imagined worlds, extend our perspectives, and examine our individuality and humanity. In TPSS, we harness the arts as a vibrant learning domain with fresh pedagogical possibilities to help our students discover their character and spur their holistic growth.
Learning through the arts, we believe that Tampinesians will embody intellectual curiosity in art-making, tenacity in learning attitude and steadfast values in collaborative endeavours. And above all, they will grow to be individuals of good character who are responsible to family, school, community and nation.
A SHOWCASE OF TALENTS
2018, TPSS staged Chalk Circle - an inaugural production involving students from English Drama, Show Choir and Concert Band. It was held at the Festive Arts Theatre in Our Tampines Hub. The performance was the perfect platform for our students to showcase their talents and achievements, and brought parents, students, staff and community partners closer together, creating lasting memories.
