Tampines Girl Guide is dedicated to helping our girls achieve their fullest potential and be responsible citizens of the world.

Our values-based, non-formal educational approach nurtures our girls in five aspects - Personal & Social Development, Outdoors, Home, Community and International. Our motto, ‘Be Prepared’, encapsulates our belief that our girls must be future-ready to thrive in the 21st century.

CARING FOR THE SOCIETY

Our Girl Guides strive to care for the society. Our girls pursue personal growth and sharpen their skills in many aspects like outdoor cooking, tent-pitching, gadget-making and baking so as to use these skills for social causes to give back to the community.

Our girls also participate in national outreach programmes to actively contribute back to the less fortunate. These programmes include

  • selling Girl Guides cookies for charity,

  • befriending seniors at the Metta Day Rehabilitation Centre and Tan Tock Seng Hospital,

  • advocating for societal causes through collaborations with Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Cancer Society, Public Utilities Board,

  • and many others.

Through our participation in international events such as the World Thinking Day celebrations and International Camp, we interact with and host international visitors. This broadens our perspectives and communications skills.
