As a team, our girls explore team dynamics of co-operation and interaction, and build upon their communication and social skills. The game turns our girls into close friends with strong relationships that extend beyond the game.
To help our netballers be effective players, we continually tailor our curriculum to suit their fitness needs.
During this period of Covid-19, we focused on physical training and strategy-based instruction to overcome the restrictions brought about by the safe management measures. With the change in approach, we helped our girls build on other competencies to maximize their performance as athletes.
Over the years, our netballers have participated actively in inter-school tournaments such as the annual National School Games Competition and Netball Carnivals to gain exposure, develop skills and promote team spirit.
As a team sports, the ability to thrive under pressure and bounce back from set-backs is important to achieve performance excellence. Thus, we look for every opportunity to help our netballers improve their mental prowess as well as their physical exercise routines. Our school also arranges for other external enrichment programmes such as the Dragonboat Exposure Programme.
