Our student leaders are kind and humble in leading self and others to serve the school, community and nation. They are individuals of character who can self-manage and influence others to do good things.

TPSS Student Leadership Framework is based on these three levels of leadership:

  • Self-Leadership or Leading Oneself

  • Peer-Leadership or Inspiring One’s Peers

  • Community-Leadership or Serving One’s Community

We believe all our students can be leaders so we provide leadership opportunities to them so they can grow in their role to be leaders of the future.

The Class Managers, CCA Leaders, Sports Leaders, House Leaders and Student Councillors are our five pillars of student leadership. These leadership roles provide our students with authentic learning experiences.

Our leadership experience for our students is multi-faceted.

The tagline “I Can, I Care, I Commit” captures our students’ commitment to serve as competent and ethical servant-leaders.

A.R.C. FRAMEWORK

We use the A.R.C framework to guide our focus and determine the types of training and developmental opportunities for our students’ leadership development. The intention of the framework is for our teachers to plan meaningful assignments, structured relationships and essential courses for students to carry out their role as effective student leaders.

student council

Our Student Council plays a pivotal role in being exemplary for the rest of our students. They build school spirit and contribute to the Tampinesian school experience by planning and executing school activities and service projects.

In addition, the student council is also the voice of the student body. They help to share students' ideas, interests and concerns with the school management in order to promote a safe and conducive learning environment for all the students.
