Dance Dynamics (DD) allows our students to discover and nurture their talent in dance. Our dynamic dancers are exposed to different dance genres which include hip hop, urban, street jazz, break dance and other contemporary dance styles.
FRIENDS WITH THE SAME PASSION
Trainings are held twice a week to help our students improve their physical strength, foundation techniques, as well as choreography and performance skills.
Our teachers do not only focus on our students' development in dance moves. They also explore collaborative aspects in training, to help our students understand each other better. This is important as it helps them connect to one another during dance performances.
GROOVING TO THE BEAT TOGETHER!
During training, students are usually split into smaller groups, and they are to orchestrate their moves for various sections of a performance. They will later re-group to piece together an entire gig. This challenges our students to work together to achieve a synchronised performance, a valuable skill to learn beyond the classroom. They also pick up important values such as resilience, discipline, independence, and team work.
Dance Dynamics was awarded the Certificate of Distinction from Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation 2021 and the past three assessments.
Our students have also competed in national competitions such as Super24 - the ultimate team dance challenge. In our last participation in 2018, our students emerged 1st Runner up! Unfortunately, the pandemic has made it infeasible for us to participate in recent years.
We are particularly proud that Dance Dynamics have been handpicked to represent MOE at the NDP 2021 Show @ The Float. This invaluable opportunity was a testament of our students' hard work and dedication to achieving excellence in their craft.
DANCING CAN HAPPEN ANYWHERE ANYTIME
