TPSS St John Brigade (SJB) embodies the words recited in the SJB Pledge which our cadets take at every weekly Routine Training - ‘Pro Utilitate Hominum’ which is the Latin translation of ‘In the service of humanity’.
We focus on ensuring that every cadet is trained in the values of selflessness and excellence and are always ready to give assistance to anyone in need.
BE THAT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH
First Aid emergencies can occur anywhere, to anyone. Through our weekly trainging sessions, our cadets strive to be always ready to render assistance, comfort, and support to those in need before medical assistance arrives. The mental and physical training ensures we are well-equipped to help others in need of urgent First Aid attention.
As we train hard, we also play hard as a SJB family. In most routine trainings, we also emphasise the importance of being unified in our goals and cooperatively working together. Through a wide variety of team-bonding games, that our cadets always look forward to, we seek to foster a strong sense of comradery and support within the group.
