Director of Family Medicine/Family Medicine-Enhanced Skills - Selection and Quality Improvement

Dr. Lorand Kristof is the Director for Selection and Director for Quality Improvement for TMU’s Family Medicine/Enhanced Skills program. He has trained and obtained certifications in Family Medicine and Geriatrics, and he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.
Dr. Kristof coordinates the QI/SRCI curriculum for Family Medicine residents at TMU.
In this role he mentors residents in developing their scholarly projects, and he leads the Medical Humanities course within the BOLD-FM Curriculum. He also developed the Long Term Care Curriculum and the Lifestyle Medicine Curriculum for the McMaster Family Medicine Program/Brampton site.
Dr. Kristof is a rehabilitation hospitalist at William Osler Health System and medical director with the Region of Peel LTC homes. He is currently pursuing the Clinician Educator Program at McMaster University.
