The Leadership Mapping Project used a scoping review of academic and non-academic literature as well as interviews and focus groups to conduct a needs assessment of the existing leadership development programs (double check the MITACs project).
This project focuses on the following questions:
What are the typical healthcare journeys that leaders have historically taken, and what capabilities (including competencies) do they acquire along the way?
What new capabilities are required for healthcare leaders in a post-pandemic period?
The data collection and analysis from the scoping review, interviews and focus groups has been completed. The project team is in the process of compiling and synthesizing the results to address the project questions.
