Lesson 1

Learning food words

Saying some food words and saying you want to have some of these foodsIn this lesson, we will learn nine foods (masculine, feminine, singular and plural nouns) and their definite articles (el, la, los, las). We will also learn the verb "quiero" (I want).

Lesson 2

Saying you are hungry and thirsty

Saying you or someone else is hungry, hot and coldIn this lesson, we will recap nine food nouns and their articles and use the verbs "tener" and "querer" to say if you or someone else is hot, cold or hungry.

Lesson 3

Giving opinions about food and drink part 1

Giving opinions about singular foods and joining opinions using conjunctionsIn this lesson, we will recap the food nouns, focusing on the singular foods and their definite articles. We will learn how to give four different opinions about singular foods and join opinions using two different conjunctions.

week 3 - Week 4

Giving opinions about food and drink part 2

Giving opinions about plural foods and joining opinions using conjunctionsIn this lesson, we will recap the food nouns, focusing on the plural foods and their definite articles. We will learn how to give opinions about plural foods and join opinions using conjunctions and the adverb "también".

Lesson 2

Giving opinions about food and drink part 3

Giving someone else's opinion about singular and plural foods and joining opinions using conjunctionsIn this lesson, we will recap the food nouns and their definite articles. We will also recap giving opinions about those foods and learn to give someone else's opinion about singular and plural foods. We will then join those opinions using the conjunctions and adverb learned so far.

Working with a challenging text (Part 1/2)In this lesson, we will be looking at a challenging text which describes what the country Bolivia is like. We will look at the difference in pronunciation between 'l' and 'll', in addition to singular and plural nouns.

Working with a challenging text (Part 2/2)In this lesson, we will look at a challenging text about the diversity of Bolivia, a Spanish-speaking country of contrasts. We will look at the difference in pronunciation of nouns ending in -ia and -ía.

Describing free time activities

Describing free time activitiesIn this lesson, we will be describing our free time activities and we will be using 'querer' and 'dar' in the st person plural. In our phonics we will look at the suffix '-ción'.
