My parents someday taught me that hope is the last thing that you lose. Everything does not have a reason without hope, because that is the reason for what we wake up every day, since we HOPE that today is going to be a better day than yesterday.

Anything that I am now, I just have to continue because tomorrow would be a new day.

I’ve chosen to express my idea of hope in music by creating a song that talks about believing in yourself because if you want to accomplish something like your dream you should believe deep down that there is hope for you so you can become successful and stay motivated.

This message is important to me because I also have a goal of my own that I want to reach, not only for my future but for my current family and my future family. This also helps me stay motivated so I don’t lose hope in my goal.

I worked in hope that this current situation would return to its place as soon as possible. Because this is the first and painful thing for all of us. I made my work like a lullaby that makes the listener comfortable and calm. I hoped that listeners could forget their worries and have fun even at the moment when they listened to my song.

I think that hope is best described as the desire for a better future, it gives a sense of security. Most people are unable to continue to live normally. Thus, I expressed the idea of hope through my heavy use of sounds that we may hear daily before the pandemic. This is a reminder for myself and to others that someday we will hear these sounds without a care for our well-being.

I have chosen to express my idea of hope through instrumental music. My music is in a major key because major keys tend to sound “happier”. The music has a simple melody that is repetitive, like many “happy” pop songs. I got the idea of using repetition from the song “Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley (This song was mentioned in an earlier assignment). My music has a soft tone, which is often something that is associated with hope and reassurance. My song also has a good level of energy. It does not have so much energy to make it seem like a party or dance song, but also has enough energy to avoid being sad and somber.

The idea of hope is important to me because everyone is in need of it, especially right now. The global pandemic we are currently facing has caused a huge amount of loss all around the world. Many people need reassurance and hope to get through the tragedy we are living through. If you can give a person hope, you can also give them happiness, optimism, and reassurance at the same time. In these times, it is very important to stay hopeful and provide hope to those who have lost it. If everyone has hope, everyone will have something in common, something to unite around. Greater unity can lead to greater success and prosperity in the world.

When I hear hope the first thing that comes to my mind is wishing for something but we always forget about the emotions we feel previously that lead to us wanting to hope for something or someone. The song that I made originally was supposed to have lyrics but I wanted the listener to feel their own lyrics and thoughts through their song. My vision was that the audience feels the negative emotions at the beginning and then transition into sounding more hopeful. The message HOPE is very important to me because I hope every day and without it, you can’t have positivity and the will to achieve your goals.

I have chosen to represent my idea of hope as rising up from a low dark place and entering a better lighter one. This represents the hope someone must have when they are going through darker times that their situation will change and become a better one.

We should have a strong self in our heart to protect ourselves. Life is only a short few decades, and youth only accounted for a quarter of the time. In this way of life we will always encounter a lot of difficulties, we are holding a seed of hope, life will send out the glory of youth. Do not give up, do not abandon yourself, unremitting efforts, let us use hope to illuminate the way forward, with hope tempered into a young heart, in the hope of hard work, with hope to cast a success!

I think these messages are important, because I think people need a bright light in their world to help them out of the abyss when they are at the bottom or when the world is gray, when they want to give up and despair. Only in this way can they have hope. And can help many people have energy and power.

I choose to use the raised melody to express my idea of hope because I think hope means we can go up to face the problems and solve them. This is an important message for me because this belief makes me go ahead when I meet difficulties.
