The Drawing and Painting courses focus on skill development using a wide range of media. Students engage in a rigorous and intensive study and exploration of a variety of styles, methods, and techniques of mark making. Through creative problem solving, students strive to develop personal imagery and expression. Discussions and critiques will be enriched through the study of historical and contemporary artists’ works and application in studio projects.
