The Sunnybrook Hospital Central Coop program is an opportunity to apply skills learned in school in a healthcare setting. Some positions are clinical and others are non-clinical. The on-site TDSB teacher organizes workshops and guest speakers for integration activities on Fridays. Students will have an opportunity to work with coop students from across the TDSB!
The Sunnybrook Central Coop has applications at the BEGINNING of the semester.
There are two types of positions:
Clinical (3 EH candidates per semester): These are more likely to be patient facing positions. You may be assisting patients to find their rooms, helping to stock supplies, assisting nurses and may have exposure to physicians in your assigned unit.
Non-Clinical (3 EH candidates per semester): These positions are not directly patient facing but still may have customer service elements. Examples are security, daycare, gift shop, accounting, skilled trades, customer service.
