Prioritizing and committing to fully attend the Business our Guest Program
An interest in the hospitality industry, business, culinary, customer service.
A wide range of interests are accepted but students must demonstrate a good attendance pattern, professionalism and a desire to learn within a hospitality environment.
Most require travel of 1 hour from Earl Haig
Applications for semester 1 open in May. Applications for semester 2 open in October.
Students are eligible to apply for only ONE position and should pay attention to whether the position is 2-credit or 4-credit, in-person or virtual before making a decision of which position to apply for.
Most employers hire only a small number of students from the TDSB each semester. As such, this program has a multi-stage interview process:
Review the LOCATIONS of the mentioned hotels and the position types.
Complete the Application to Central Coop within Earl Haig.
Meet with the Earl Haig teacher coordinating Be our Guest (BOG) and attend BOG information sessions.
If you are approved by an EH Coop teacher, you will be sent an application process by the BOG program by EMAIL (check your TDSB mail daily). Submit your application to your Coop teacher BEFORE the Earl Haig deadline so that it can be reviewed before submitting to the BOG .

If students are not accepted, they may absolutely find a similar position within Standard Coop!
