Many of the expectations in Financial Literacy can be connected to Number; however, there are a lot of non-number expectations that allow students to consider financial goals, products, and decisions.

The Scope and Sequence of Expectations (Ministry Resource Guide (Gr 4-8)) was released in 2016 as a way to integrate Financial Literacy through cross-curricular activities. This guide will help provide some examples of how teachers can incorporate a variety of topics in the arts, science, social studies, FSL, health & physical education, language, and mathematics.
