The Art Squad will be posting new videos each Monday until August 3rd. It is a collaboration between a storyteller, dancer, comic artist, actor, and a musician, keeping kids entertained! You can scroll down to see links to each of the artist's posts for this week.
The Ripley's Aquarium Shark Camera is lots of fun (and relaxing) to look at and enjoy. Also offered by Ripley's - live demonstrations! Check out their offerings.
View an animal in your space! Go to Google (on your cell phone) and type any animal into the search engine. We tried "panda" and "dog" (elephant and zebra weren't available). Scroll down until you see the "View in 3D" option. Click on that. The animal appears in your room! Your child can pet and feed the animal. Pretty cool! You can discuss the animals to introduce new vocabulary. For "lion", you can talk about the lion's mane, fierceness, predator, and prey.
Love these scavenger hunts! A great way to keep your child busy AND to help build categorization/vocabulary skills. You can find more here: https://primaryplayground.net/scavenger-hunts/

Below you will find a collection of activities to celebrate Catholic Education this week:
Dear KLP friends,
God made you so special. He made you for great and wonderful things .... He has a special plan for you!
He gave you eyes to see His creation.
He gave you ears to hear the birds sing.
He gave you hands to help a friend.
He gave you feet to help walk His path.
He gave you a heart to LOVE.
There is no one else like YOU!
You can:
1.Listen to the song.
2.Tell someone in your family about something that makes you special.
Try listening to these songs and make-up some actions and awesome dance moves to go with it.
