Research & Writing Support

Summer is a time open to possibilities. While many students can’t wait to enjoy some sunshine and beach time with friends and family, others are eager to expand their academic horizons through specialized summer programs. Throughout this semester, the Research and Writing Lab Specialist assisted 9th through 11th graders with their applications to unique summer programs. While the students’ passions differed, from veterinarian science and business to computer science, their dedication to their field of interest were paralleled. With the help of the Research and Writing Lab, students not only gained valuable feedback on their essays corresponding to the application but also were encouraged throughout the writing process as they honed their writing skills.
