Imagine a classroom where every lesson is tailored to the individual needs of each student, administrative tasks are streamlined, and grading is both efficient and insightful. AI is not just a futuristic concept—it's a reality that is reshaping how we educate and learn. Through our dedicated series of infographics and engaging events, we aim to demystify AI and showcase its practical applications in the educational landscape.
On the first "Teacher Tertulias" series last January, we were honored to host two sessions that shared the title "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," featuring CITL Professional Consultants Alberto Chiecchio and Jean Carlos Suárez. In "Part I: The Bad & the Ugly," Alberto reflected on the impact of AI in our work, and in "Part II: The Good," Jean Carlos presented a series of applications that any member of the faculty can use.
During these sessions, our colleagues delved into the theoretical frameworks and practical applications of AI in education. Their presentations offered a balanced perspective, addressing the potential benefits, challenges, and ethical considerations of integrating AI into our teaching practices. This event was part of a trilogy of Tertulias and has given us a steady semester opportunity to learn together.
We invite you to be a part of this exciting journey into the future of education. Together, we can harness the power of AI to create more dynamic, effective, and personalized learning environments. Explore our resources, attend our events, and join the conversation as we navigate the evolving landscape of educational technology.
Stay curious, stay inspired, and let’s shape the future of education together.
Welcome to the forefront of innovation with the CITL.
