The Research & Writing Lab

Mission: The Research and Writing Lab strives to strengthen the ability of TASIS Dorado students to write effectively and research responsibly. It also exists to aid TASIS Dorado faculty in the integration of research and writing into the different class components.  

As the investigative and compositional wing of the CITL, the Research and Writing Lab prides itself in supporting the TASIS Dorado students' learning of and faculty's teaching of research and writing. Students benefit from consulting the lab by receiving personalized feedback for their research and writing assignments. They can also receive practical guidance on how to enhance their understanding of grammar, conduct ethical and responsible research, incorporate purposeful tone and diction, and cultivate a unique writing style, among other areas. 

At the same time, faculty can consult the Research and Writing Lab for strategic suggestions on how to fashion their classes or assignments for the purpose of building up students' competency in research and writing. 

The value of research and writing cannot be stated enough in the ever-increasing technological world. For this reason, TASIS Dorado has established the Research and Writing Lab as a center to support students' and faculty's research and writing needs.
