Our 5th Graders & their EduHub
Dedicated to Project Based Learning (PBL), Lorein has worked on an initiative to get our 5th graders excited about applying their learning in innovative ways. As part of her curriculum, the students have poured heart and mind into the creation of their website, Beyond the Classroom. In addition to making constructive worksheets and guides, poetry anthologies, and educational magazines, Lorein's 5th graders recorded a podcast series where they explored literary elements, such as character development, plot, and theme, adding their own unique perspectives on the subject as readers and learners. This initiative has inspired our students to be all the more committed to living out their learning for the benefit of others.

Song about Márquez's One Hundred Years of Solitude for Español 12
As part of their assignments this semester, twelfth-graders André E. and Gonzalo R. paired up in their class Español 12 to create a song about Gabriel García Márquez's literary masterpiece, One Hundred Years of Solitude. Integrating the recording and editing equipment of the CITL Recording Studio, they composed a creative and compelling rap that blended contemporary elements with literary themes.
Through such innovative outlets, our students are able to expand their educational understanding in a fun and analytical way!
The TASIS Dorado community has only begun to tap into the Recording Studio's resources and functionality,
and we're excited to see how this space can continue to benefit the projects of our community.
