Anna Kokoris 20-21
Digital photography is a great introductory art course for students who have an interest in photography and photo manipulation. Students will take photographs using digital cameras or cell phone cameras. They will learn various techniques on how to take and edit photos. Students will explore a variety of subjects including: nature, city scenes, macro, landscape, and portraits. Using Adobe Photoshop and other software, students will manipulate, alter, and improve the quality of the photographs.
Digital Photography is a 0.5 credit alternate day course
This course fulfills half of the art graduation requirement.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Students will need access to a digital camera. This camera could be a DSLR, their cell phone camera, or any other digital camera.
Students will explore a variety of photo editing materials including: filters, cropping, clone stamp, watercolor, layers, and selective color.
