After technique is arrived at (in drawing, painting, etching, block printing etc) in preliminary courses, students in AP Drawing are asked to make artwork that is applicable to one all encompassing theme of their choosing referred to as "Sustained Investigation". The AP exam is a college board website where 15 works need to be digitally uploaded for AP credit.
AP Drawing is a 1 credit, full year course
AP Drawing does not satisfy the art graduation requirement
Foundations 1 and 2, or Studio in Art, and Painting, Drawing/Advanced Drawing or Art Portfolio are strongly recommended.
