Magazine Cover Design
Advanced Advertising is the perfect course for students planning to major in advertising or communications in college or those who want to further develop their skills in graphic design and commercial layout. In this course, students will use advanced graphic design skills to produce camera-ready mechanicals. In addition to creating these mechanicals as classroom assignments, mechanicals will be used by professional printers to print booklets, brochures, and other documents to meet the visual communication needs of the school and community. Advanced layout and design skills will be applied with computer software including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
Advanced Advertising is a 1 credit, full year course
This course does not satisfy the art graduation requirement
Advertising Design is the prerequisite for this course.
Students will use a variety of materials and software including: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, paint, and pencils.

Student Led Concepts
Students will follow the step by step watercolor tutorial. The printed tutorial and watercolor supplies are on my cart in the room. Students should clean up and put all supplies back on the cart as they do daily
